So here’s another “not top 10 but definitely close” country. I love Spain. But before I tell you a little bit of why I love this country, take a look at some of these pictures.
Yupp, I’m in love. I especially love the last picture, but sunflowers are my favorite flower so…yeah.
Here’s why I love Spain: go look at the very first picture again. That is Alhambra in Granada, Spain, and it was the home of Ferdinand and Isabella. Not only is Isabella one of my favorite females in history, but her daughter, Catherine of Aragon, and her grand-daughter, Mary Tudor, are two of my other favorite females. The marriage of Ferdinand and Isabella, the heirs of Aragon and Castille, led to the creation of modern day Spain. This “home” was taken by Ferdinand and Isabella after defeating the Moors, which were basically African Muslims. I love Isabella for her fervor and zest for life. She was such a strong and courageous woman, and those traits are incredibly visible in her all of her children, not just Catherine.
Okay moving on…(lol)…I love Spain for their color and architecture. As you can see in some of the pictures they mix the ancient with the modern and it makes for some gorgeous pictures. They have bustling, modern cities, dramatic countrysides, and the preservation of ancient landmarks. I love Spain. Not gonna lie, seeing one of those bull fight things is definitely on my to do list.
Not to mention, Spain is the country that believed Christopher Columbus and sent him on the journey that led him to the discovery of my beautiful homeland. Does is get better than that? Yeah, I have a lot to be thankful for when it comes to Spain, not just appreciating the incredible beauty of this country.

I love your photos. Such beautiful colours
